If you caught and pulled in a mammal over a 20 minute fight you’d be classed as being cruel. Consider the bad publicity the Japanese get for the time it takes to catch and kill minke whales.
I cannot understand this culture of bravado surrounding torturing fish. I have no problem with catching and eating fish but this new culture of catching, kissing fish and throwing them back is macabre.
