LONDON – Warnings about the effects of climate change have made most Britons aware of the crisis, but few are willing to make major changes to the way they live, a survey showed on Friday.

Most people are ready to make personal sacrifices to address climate change, according to a BBC poll of 22,000 people in 21 countries.

This sort of junk results from who writes the poll questions, how the questions are posed, where the questions are posed, what the pollers use for a polling list, and whether or not things have been adjusted for actual population statistics.
You can find people everywhere who are “interested in climate change,” and around here, most of them want warmer weather.
And around here, most people won’t pay for colder weather. They won’t pay for warmer weather, either.
People in an agrarian economy just don’t get into the notion that people can change the weather. Or the climate.
Goofball urbanites obviously entertain themselves differently, with different notions.
