Usually I don’t play the shoot-the-messenger game, but I must point out that Marc Morano doesn’t have a whole lot of credibility as a source of information. Here’s a quote from sourcewatch.org
“Morano is a former journalist with Cybercast News Service (CNS), which is owned by the conservative Media Research Center. CNS and Morano were the first source in May 2004 of the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth claims against John Kerry in the 2004 presidential election [1] and in January 2006 of similar smears against Vietnam war veteran John Murtha.”

Marc Morano is a political hack, who’ll say anything–true or otherwise–to win his little pissing contest. And that fact is widely known in the U.S. If you mention Morano’s name in the context of an AGW skeptic’s argument, you’ll be shooting yourself in the foot.
In contrast, Anthony Watts is a much better source of info, and a much worthier name to drop.
Yeah, the NYT article really skewers Morano but he seesm very proud of it and I guess that is because he will leverage the exposure.
